Clinical handover from one shift to the next is one of the most dangerous times in patient care. With the help of a clinical tool - SBAR - hospital staff hope to greatly improve this handover process. The tool will help to formalise the patient information that doctors need to know and provides doctors with a common language that will not only improve patient care, but also help to decrease their workload.
