Merryn Voysey

Associate Professor of Statistics in Vaccinology

Merryn Voysey is Associate Professor of Statistics in Vaccinology at the Oxford Vaccine Group. She has extensive experience in vaccines research including clinical trials and observational studies, and was the lead methodologist for the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine trials. 

She is the Principal Investigator on studies of measles seroprevalence in infants, the timing of measles vaccination in Ugandan infants, the contribution of T-cell immunity in protection against SARS-CoV-2, correlates of protection for group B streptococcus vaccines, and pneumococcal vaccine seroefficacy.

Merryn is a member of the WHO Technical Advisory Group on Group B Streptococcus Vaccine Development and Chairs the Department of Paediatrics Athena Swan Data subcommittee.
