Katarzyna Chwalenia

Research Assistant

Kasia holds an MSc degree in Biochemistry from Jagiellonian University in Poland. There, she investigated the role of microRNAs in animal model of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy under the supervision of Prof Józef Dulak. Before that, she worked in the field of RNA biology at University of Virginia (USA) with a focus on mechanism of chimeric RNAs formation in the laboratory of Prof Hui Li. She joined the lab as a Research Assistant in July 2018 working on DMD antisense-oligonucleotides therapy.
