Visiting Research Fellow

Dr Bergithe E. Oftedal is a visiting research fellow funded by the Norwegian research council. She has previously focused her work mainly on patients with autoimmune polyendocrine syndrome type I, and the underlying gene in this disease, the autoimmune regulator (AIRE) gene. In addition to excellent knowledge about cellular biology and T cells in particular, she has acquired additional skills in genetics and analysis of genome data.
