Yong Ji

DPhil Student

Biography

Yong began his DPhil at the Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG) in 2025, under the supervision of Dr Young Chan Kim and Dr Sthefany Pagliari. His research is focused on vaccines against encephalitic alphaviruses.

Before joining OVG, Yong received his bachelor's degree from Imperial College London. His research areas include wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE) of enteroviruses, neutralising antibody (NAb) design against SARS-CoV-2, and nutrient preference changes of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE).
