Biography

Eduardo Tirta has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa Insper, in São Paulo, Brazil, concluded in 2020. And have worked for over 5 years in Clinical Research from Phases 2 to 4 on the data management setup and Case Report Form (CRF) design for key pivotal efficacy Covid-19 Phase 3 trials.

He has been involved in face-to-face investigational sites supporting the clinical trials staff on activities such as data management, clinical operations, and providing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for pharmacovigilance, epidemiology, and operations; not to mention the introduction of the Brazilian vaccination system to the team of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine Phase 3 trial at the São Paulo site.

As part of the Oxford Latam Research Group, he also worked on different COVID-19 vaccine trials, with several tasks related to data management, clinical operations, and trial indicators. He is responsible for assessing the infrastructure of remote sites in Latam and establishing Clinical Study Support (CRS), and Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) to make them as clinical-like as possible.

Before joining Oxford Latam Research Group, I worked as DM Project Manager for a CRO and for a health software company that provides eCRF, eCOA, CTMS, and eTMF, among other solutions. My tasks included leading data managers in vaccine trials and supporting loco sites in the USA, Latin America, and Asia.
