Clare Megson
Senior Research Nurse
Clare is dual registered paediatric/ adult nurse. Throughout her career she has worked in various settings and has gained plenty of experience. Her research career began in 2012 with the paediatric diabetes team at the JR.
Clare's first experience working with the vaccine group was in 2020, when she was redeployed to help support the work on the Astra Zeneca Covid 19 vaccine. She remained a flexible worker, working at the weekends until she finally accepted a role as a senior research nurse.
Clare also works for the University of Bristol, supporting their diabetes studies.
