Yong Ji

Biography
Yong began his DPhil at the Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG) in 2025, under the supervision of Dr Young Chan Kim and Dr Sthefany Pagliari. His research is focused on vaccines against alphaviruses.
Before joining OVG, Yong received his bachelor's degree from Imperial College London. His research was primarily focused on the epidemiology and immunology of viruses, including enteroviruses and SARS-CoV-2.
Outside of research, Yong is an identical twin, an amateur cook, and a basketball fan. He enjoys experimenting with new recipes and keeping up with NBA games, especially those by the Golden State Warriors.
