Naomi Gray
Naomi serves as Project Manager to support and manage the delivery of CEPI funded Lassa programme. She serves within a multi-disciplinary team bringing together vaccine manufacturers, clinicians, nurses, immunologists, epidemiologists, statisticians, QA managers, monitors and data managers.
Naomi supports clinical trials of the ChAdOx1-LassaJ vaccine, developped by Dame Professor Sarah Gilbert. These trials include the Phase I UK clinical trial ViTaL01, and the planned Phase I clincial trial in Ghana, currently in the final stages of ethics approval, both overseen by Professor Maheshi Ramasamy.
Her background is in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and she has an MBA from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. Having worked in academic, health, biotech, scientific and NGO sectors, Naomi brings experience of managing complex projects in various national and international settings over the last twenty years. She is passionate about applying excellent science, novel technologies and international expertise to Global Health Challenges. She loves languages, travel, culture, international cuisine and music.
