Research summary

My work is kindly supported by funding from the British Society of Immunology, Altarea Cogedim and La Normandise. My research project focuses on developing novel prophylactic and therapeutic strategies to combat blood-stage malaria. 

On the prophylactic side, I contribute to advancing the Draper Lab’s next-generation RH5-CyRPA-RIPR vaccine candidate. On the therapeutic side, I lead an independent project aimed at creating a targeted therapy that overcomes the limitations of current antimalarial small-molecule drugs.

Prior to joining the Draper Lab, I worked with the Aleku, Wardle, and Rahman groups at King’s College London, where I developed key skills in protein engineering and medicinal chemistry — expertise that now drives my current research at the Draper Lab.
