Dr. Rebecca Berrens, Principal Investigator in the Transposon Group, has published research into the piRNA pathway, a key process our body uses to keep these transposable elements in check.

Founded in January 2019, the MDUK Oxford Neuromuscular Centre was set up to drive the development of new therapies and treatments and increase the capacity of clinical trials for muscle wasting and weakening conditions in the UK.
