The administrative team will be working at a reduced capacity over the festive period and several team closures are listed below for your information. The closure dates and related deadlines will be updated regularly on the intranet at the link below:
The HR Team will be out of the office from 23rd December 2024 through to 6th January 2025. There is an earlier deadline for the December payroll and all timesheets need to be submitted by Monday 26th November. The casual payroll deadline is 2nd December; Main payroll deadline is Wednesday 4th December. There may be further delays to recruitment on either side of that period due to leave of other stakeholders who we work alongside. Therefore, leading up to the Christmas period, timelines for recruitment will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on the capacity of the team. Please do consider these festive closures when planning new recruitment and aim for the New Year where possible.
The Graduate Studies team will be out of the office on 25th and 26th December 2024, as well as on 1st January 2025.
The Information Governance Lead will also be out of office on 25th and 26th December 2024 and 1st January 2025.

UNIQ+ Postgraduate Research Internship Programme |
|
|
UNIQ+ is a graduate access programme taking place each summer, enabling participants to experience graduate study at Oxford. The target audience of the programme is undergraduates from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds who are on an upward academic trajectory, but who would find continuing into postgraduate study a challenge for reasons other than their academic ability. We are now seeking project requests from research staff who are willing to supervise interns working in their department during the 2025 summer vacation. Please note, interns can be supervised by a broader ‘supervisory team’ (including other academic staff, post-docs and DPhil students) if the lead supervisor is not available for the full duration, but the lead supervisor should still ensure appropriate supervisory arrangements are in place and clearly communicated. Deadline for project submission will be Wednesday, 13 November. |
