FCDO Minister meets with vaccine researchers

The Department of Paediatrics welcomed the Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, Minister of State for Development and Africa, to its vaccine research facilities last Thursday 25 January. He toured clinics and labs with his scientific adviser Professor Charlotte Watts, and met with several leading Principal Investigators from research groups and institutes at the University of Oxford, to discuss vaccine development and preparing for future pandemics. |

| Wadham is currently recruiting for Visiting Fellowships. The College proposes to elect one or more visitors to Oxford to Visiting Fellowships for all or part of the academic year 2024-25. The Fellowships, which are for those who already have full financial support, are for (i) internationally outstanding scholars; and (ii) individuals of very significant academic, intellectual, professional or artistic distinction. There is no limitation upon the field of study. Nominations are invited from members of a faculty or department. |

| Brasenose College invites applications for the Nicholas Kurti Senior and Junior Research Fellowship in the Sciences and the William Golding Senior and Junior Research Fellowship in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. These Fellowships are non-stipendiary, but include Senior Common Room membership with free meals, and research and hospitality allowances. The Fellowships have a tenure of five years (renewable) for Senior Fellows and three years (non-renewable) for Junior Fellows. |
