This training is for general practice nurses and other health professionals who as part of their role already administer and promote / advise about influenza vaccines. The training will cover the theory of the influenza programme. ** Please note the local logistics of delivering the 2022/23 influenza programme will NOT be addressed **

A virtual 2.5-hour influenza vaccination update training for General Practice Nurses and other registered healthcare practitioners who administer/advise about influenza immunisations. Please scroll down to see the preliminary programme.

  • Content focuses on both the adult and paediatric influenza vaccine programmes and the policy available at this time (see the programme below)
  • Content will be delivered by local immunisation specialists

The training will be delivered via Microsoft Teams.

IIC – The ESPID-Oxford Course is a residential training course covering topics in paediatric infection for paediatric infectious diseases trainees and trainers, and for all those who manage children with infections. 2024 will be the 21st edition of the course.
