Priscilla McRitason

Adult Research Nurse

Priscilla started work at OVG in April 2013. She trained as a Registered nurse /Intensive care nurse in Kenya after which she worked in various parts of Kenya before moving to Cape town South Africa where she worked in Victoria Hospital Intensive care unit for four years. Whilst working in South Africa she completed a Baccalareus Technologie Primary health care degree at the Cape Technikon collage and an Advanced University Diploma in community nursing at Potcheefstroom University. In 2001 she came to the UK and initially worked at the Royal Berkshire hospital intensive care unit for one year, then came to the Churchill Hospital in Oxford and for 9 years worked on a short stay surgical ward and at the Jane Ashley centre a Breast and Gynae ward. In 2012 she joined two health visiting teams at Donnington health centre and Leys health centre in Oxford where she worked as a community staff nurse for 8 months prior to joining OVG.
