Ching holds an MEng in Biochemical engineering from University College London and has previously managed the design and construction of a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-compliant cell processing facility in the Hong Kong Science Park. A biochemical engineer by training, her current DPhil research looks into the manufacture and delivery of autologous cell therapy products..
Her secondary research interests lie in improving healthcare using digital solutions, including supply chain improvement through use of blockchain technologies and development of digital health solutions for user health and well-being.
