DPhil student

My DPhil project is focused on the use of extracellular vesicles for therapeutic miRNA delivery. The main aims are to determine which miRNA binding/processing are required for miRNA loading to exosomes, and how to exploit these interactions to increase the loading of desired miRNA species in exosomes by bioengineering. The ultimate goal of my project would be to achieve efficient exosomal miRNA delivery that can translate into miRNA-based DMD therapeutic applications
