OVG conducts world-leading research into creating new and optimising existing vaccines for children and adults. The research has recently led to the much-anticipated introduction of the Meningitis B vaccine for babies into the UK vaccination schedule, but also focuses on global crises. Most notably, OVG has been one of the few laboratories in the world working on the development of a vaccine to combat Ebola.
