EARLY CAREER RESEARCHER COMMITTEE
Welcome! We understand how challenging the research environment is especially for early career researchers transitioning into independence. We are here to support career development and training of scientists at early stages of their academic career, including, but not limited to, research assistants, postdoctoral researchers, clinical fellows and new principal investigators. We provide information, resources and training that you may find valuable and useful in developing your academic career and professional profile. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need advice or would like to raise an issue with the Committee.
We offer one-to-one mentorship for ECRs with Principal Investigators in the Department for career consultation and advice. For more information see our guidance booklet [insert link to mentorship guidance booklet]. If you would like to participate in our mentorship programme please email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
