Tamar Cameron

Clinical Research Facility Manager

Tamar has joined the department of paediatrics, within the Specialised Translational Research Oxford Neuromuscular Group, to establish and manage the Oxford Children's Clinical Research Facility, based in the Children's Hospital Oxford John Radcliffe site. 

 Tamar initially came to research as a global clinical trials assistant for Roche Pharmaceuticals, before pursuing a graduate diploma in Nursing. After 6 years of Nursing, Tamar then retrurned to research as a Paediatric Intensive Care Research nurse for Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation trust before taking a Lead IBD research nurse role at University Hospitals Birmingham. She then took up the management of the Children's research team in the department of Paediatrics from 2016-2020 before returning to Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital as the Business and Operations Manager for the NIHR children's CRF. During this time she completed an MSc in Global Health and Infectious Disease from the University of Edinburgh.
