Project Manager for the MDUK Oxford Neuromuscular Centre

Project Manager, MDUK Oxford Neuromuscular Centre

The MDUK Oxford Neuromuscular Centre was launched in 2019 as a partnership between the Muscular Dystrophy UK and the University. The ONMC aims to drive forward the development of novel experimental therapies and increase national clinical trial capacity in neuromuscular diseases. The Centre is directed by Matthew Wood and involves PIs that focus on pre-clinical or clinical research of neuromuscular diseases from across the Medical Sciences Division, Mathemetical, Physical and Life Sciences Division, and Oxford University Hospitals. I lead the administration and management of the Centre and the implementation of its aims.

I am a neuroscientist and moved into research management from the University’s Department of Physiology, Anatomy & Genetics. I received my PhD from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
